Bio

Richard L. Righi has been practicing law since 1992. As a seasoned trial lawyer with decades of experience in civil defense, he is known among his peers and opponents as a true force to be reckoned with in the civil courtroom. Mr. Righi focuses his practice on the defense of contractors, insurance companies, individuals, businesses, and municipalities in the face of claims alleging personal injuries, insurance bad faith, construction defects, defective products, professional malpractice, and more. In addition to acting as a powerful litigator, Mr. Righi recognizes the value of mediation and arbitration and can take a non-litigious approach to his clients’ cases when this serves their interests.

Mr. Righi has received numerous awards and accolades through his years in practice, including a prestigious AV Preeminent® Rating by Martindale-Hubbell®, inclusion in the Southwest Super Lawyers® list every year from 2012 to 2018, and the America’s Top 100 Lawyers Lifetime Achievement Award. He has several published works and is often sought for his opinion and insight regarding complex civil defense matters.
