Joseph Shelley is an experienced litigation attorney with Righi Fitch in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Joe is a native New Mexican, having grown up in Clovis, New Mexico. Joe’s father worked as a railroad conductor for BNSF over 40 years instilling in Joe the value of hard work and determination from an early age. After graduating in 2017 from the University of New Mexico where he obtained his B.B.A in Finance, Joe ventured out of state and received his law degree from Texas Tech University in 2020. He is admitted to practice law in New Mexico, Texas, and the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico.
Joe concentrates his practice on the defense of civil lawsuits in the areas of wrongful death, premises liability, construction defect, and trucking and transportation. Joe’s civil litigation practice includes the defense of business owners, construction companies, and trucking companies and their drivers. He handles a wide variety of insurance defense cases ranging from personal automobile accidents to catastrophic injury and wrongful death.
