Righi Fitch Law Group Gets Tier 3 Designation in Construction Law
We are pleased to announce Righi Fitch Law Group’s inclusion in the 2022 edition of the U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” rankings. For 2022, our firm has earned a Tier 3 metropolitan designation in construction law, which only a fraction of law firms in the US achieve. This ranking indicates a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise — some of the many feats our firm brings to the table.
What Does the Selection Process Look Like?
U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings highlight firms of distinct professional excellence and consistently impressive ratings from clients and peers. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must first have an attorney recognized in The Best Lawyers in America, which recognizes the top 5% of practicing attorneys in the U.S. Partner Melissa Lin was listed in the 28th edition of The Best Lawyers in America© for construction law, qualifying Righi Fitch Law Group for a ranking in the “Best Law Firms” list.
The selection methodology remained the same as in the previous 11 years. The evaluation process goes as such:
Client feedback: Clients gave feedback on firm practice groups, addressing expertise, responsiveness, understanding of a business and its needs, cost-effectiveness, civility, and the chances of referring another client to the firm.
Lawyer feedback: Attorneys voted on law firms that have a leading presence within a specified legal practice area they know well, voting on expertise, responsiveness, integrity, cost-effectiveness, whether they would refer a matter to a firm, and whether they consider a firm a worthy competitor.
Law firm insights: Law firms, including our own, were asked to provide general demographic and background information on the firm and attorneys, as well as other data that highlights the strength of a law firm’s practice areas.
Scoring: All quantitative and qualitative data were combined into a “Best Law Firms” score, which was then compared to other firms within the same metropolitan area and at the national level. The first tier in each metropolitan area lists firms within a certain percentage of the highest-scoring firms, the second tier includes firms that scored within a certain percent of the next highest-scoring firms, and so on.
As you can see, U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” employs a rigorous evaluation process. Only a select number of law firms achieve a spot on the list, and we are proud to be one of them.
