Rick Righi Has Been Selected for Membership with the Prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates

The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges, dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the right to a jury trial provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

ABOTA strives to elevate the standards of integrity, honor, and courtesy in the legal profession. The Association's Mission is to foster improvement in the ethical and technical standards of practice in the field of advocacy, to help ensure that individual litigants receive more effective representation, and to improve efficient administration of justice consistent with traditional principles of litigation. The Association also strives to educate students and their parents, educators, judges, lawyers, and all civic leaders with respect to the principles of civility, professionalism, and the precious right to trial by jury.

Judges, legislators, and community leaders believe that ABOTA encompasses what is "best" in the legal profession. Members constitute a "who's who" of the trial lawyers nationwide, and many consider their invitation to join ABOTA as a special highlight of their legal career. ABOTA members are actively involved in projects at the local and national level.
