Michael J Minnaugh
Mr. Minnaugh’s practice is concentrated in commercial litigation with emphasis in construction litigation. Mr. Minnaugh has tried more than 35 jury trials. Mr. Minnaugh has experience in a wide range of general civil, business and tort litigation, and has successfully briefed and argued dispositive motions for summary judgment. In addition to experience with the litigation process, Mr. Minnaugh has successful experience handling matters before the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and through alternative dispute resolution forums including arbitration, mediation, and settlement conferences.
Mr. Minnaugh represents construction owners and developers, lenders, design professionals and architects, sureties, general contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers in performance and payment disputes. He has experience with contract termination matters, mechanics' and materialmen's lien foreclosures, surety bond claims, defective products claims, collection matters, and payment issues under the Arizona Prompt Pay Act. Mr. Minnaugh was also a deputy county attorney for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Minnaugh also speaks conversational Mandarin Chinese.
